About Us

New for 2024, we introduce the International Brewing and Cider Festival, born from the International Brewing & Cider Awards which began in 1886. As a not for profit, by industry for industry event, we want to support the local Manchester community by bringing this fantastic opportunity to sample products from around the globe.

The festival will run after judging is complete, giving both trade and the public a chance to sample products from all entries and award winners. The festival will be spilt into two zones, The Competition Zone (awards entries) and The Bar Zone.

A two day event open to both trade and the general public. Different ticket types available. Trade tickets subject to approval.

What Makes Us Different?

We don’t want to be ‘just another beer festival’ because this event is so much more than that. We want to bring the industry and the community together to celebrate excellence in both brewing and cider making. We will give breweries and cideries a platform to promote their brand, showcase their products and most importantly, tell their stories. The International Brewing and Cider Awards are a big part of the industry’s history and we want to share that with a wider audience.

We promote responsible drinking through controlled sampling and token wristbands.
